Terms and conditions to booking a course, attending a course.


Terms & Conditions of Business

IMPORTANT: Please read these terms and conditions, as your contract starts from the date that you book your course online and is legally binding

Section One: HSHT

We are registered in the UK under company address and registered office at 55 Sebright Road, Wolverley, Kidderminster, Worcestershire, DY11 5UA.

We are a small professional business providing you with a high quality standard of training. We provide a small friendly environment, to support you in your personal educational growth within complementary therapy. Classes are kept small allowing 1-2-1 tuition with accreditation through the Association of Beauty Therapists (ABT), which means that all our courses can gain insurance and membership.

Section Two: Our Policies

Please read these terms and conditions, as your contract starts from the date that you book your course or workshop online or by phone and it is legally binding.

It is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that the course or workshop you apply for is suitable for your requirements and that you have read the pre-requisite qualifications and the competence to be able to achieve the objectives of the chosen course.

HSHT reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or change the location of the course and, in this unlikely event, will offer you an alternative course or workshop date. However, if you are unable to attend a rescheduled date we will offer a full refund of your booking for course/ workshop fees.

Section Four: Right to Cancel

In accordance with the DSA 2000 Regulations, you do have a 7 day “cooling off” period, which states specifically that “any cancellation must be made in writing within 7 days of your booking”. After this period, all Booking payment are STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERABLE. Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract in writing within 7 days, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancelation less charges.

Refund Policy

•All booking fees are Non-refundable or if booked on-line after 7 days

•All courses / Workshops cancelled up to 14 days before the course start date: 100% of the fee still applies (no refund will be given).

•All courses/ Workshops cancelled less than 7 days before the course start date: 100% of the fee still applies. (No refund will be given)

•No show on the date of the course/ workshop: 100% of the fee still applies (no refund will be given)

•No refunds given once course work is issued for home study modules.

 Section Five: Notice of Attendance

If you cannot attend the course, 10 days notice must be given in writing, you can then be transferred to another course. Your booking/full payment can be transferred to the next course if adequate notice is given. 

Notice of 14 days+  = moving to another course date free of charge  (date to be re-arranged within 6 months - non refundable booking and course fee not refundable if not re-arranged within time frame) or refund of balance of course (less deposit)

Notice of 13 to 7 days = moving to another course date £15.00 admin fee - non refundable booking/ course fee not refundable - this also applies if you have to reschedule more than once for unforseen reasons

Notice of less than 6 to 3 days = moving to another course date £15.00 admin fee - non refundable booking/ course fee not refundable - this also applied if you have to reschedule more than once for unforseen reasons

Notice of less than 2 days = moving to another course date £15.00 admin fee - non refundable  booking/ course fee not refundable - if you have already rescheduled the course once then 50% of the course payment plus £15.00 admin fee will need to be paid to be able to reschedule to again.

Cancelling on the day of the course -  you will be liable for full course payment plus will incur a charge of £90.00 to reschedule to another date.

Deciding not to attend the course = non refundable booking/ course fee not refundable

Section Six: Disclaimer

This course is taught to a high standard throughout, it does not diagnose medical conditions and should not be treated as a substitute for medical care. Contra indications and benefits are discussed as part of the course but are not intended to represent medical advice, nor be deemed as a treatment to cure or prevent disease.

HSHT accept no liability for injury or loss to person or property throughout.

HSHT holds no responsibility for damage caused by you to another person after you have received your training.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HSHT accepts no responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of this website, or any information contained therein.

It is the learner’s responsibility to check that your insurance and membership will cover you for the course.

Section Seven: Booking a Course/ Workshop with HSHT

Please contact us through the online booking form,   fill in with all relevant information, this helps us check availability and to prepare your certificate, and it also allows the tutor to see what prior knowledge you hold. Emailing a copy of your main therapy qualification can be included with your booking form.

It is your responsibility as the student to ensure that you book the correct course for your needs -HSHT is not responsible and cannot be held accountable if you book onto a course that does not meet your needs.

Module Courses

A booking payment is required to secure your place and then full payment within 14 days.  The  first course module will be emailed directly to you after the booking payment is made, then you are required to pay full payment before next module is sent out to 'you' the learner.

Manual for Short Courses or Workshops

A booking payment is required to secure place and then full payment is required 14 days before practical training.

Please read section  9 for additional information regarding course modules.

Paying for your Course

You can pay for the course by PayPal or by BACS or if you’re local you can pay by cash in hand. Details will be emailed to you once the booking form is received. Any payments made is the responsibility of the person to make sure the payment is made correctly. HSHT will not be responsible for errors made when purchasing.

Section Eight: Training Schedule for Courses

  1. After your booking is paid, you first Module/Manual will be sent to you along with your questionnaire paper. After you have read and completed your questionnaire of which you are required to reach a 70% or above mark, if you have not already you will be required to pay the outstanding balance for the course. Each module course questionnaire will be assessed the same way.

2.    Once you have successfully completed all Modules/Manual you will be ready to book and attend your practical training day/days.

You will be expected to turn up on time for the course, the tutor is generally available for up to 15 minutes prior to the course start time.

Any medical conditions should be discussed prior to the course, and noted on your booking form. You should be prepared to give and receive treatments throughout the course to complete and be deemed competent. The tutor can refuse to pass the practical training session if the learner is not proficient, addition training/case studies can be arrange this may incur a small additional cost to the learner.

•Please wear a tunic or plain top and trouser for your practical session

•Minimum jewellery

•Long hair tied back.

•Flat shoes and socks/ pop socks for footwear.

•Short nails, you cannot perform a massage with long nails, so please do not turn up with long nails.

•Any items left will need to be picked up. If they are posted out HSHT holds no responsibility to them arriving and a fee will be charged for postage. Items will be kept safe for collection.

3.    After you have successfully completed your training day/s or if you are required to complete a set of case studies  first, this will need to be sent and marked before certification can be given. You will be provided with a template to use for these case studies no alternative will be accepted.

Section Nine: Protected by Copyright

Course manual


The course manual is the registered property of Heaven Sense Healing and Training under Theresa Jane Wilkes and is protected by copyright. You cannot reproduce any of the manual without express written permission from us. You will be in breach of the contract by using the manual or teaching the subject from the manual and we will take legal action against you.

The course modules or manual are emailed to you (to reduce the costs for the learner), if you wish to have your modules or manual printed by us and sent via post this will incur an extra administration fee. Check with booking as different courses have a different amount of modules. An example: Intuitive Spiritual Healing 6-Modules (4 modules Theory + 1 Module Practical + 1Module Case studies) 5 Items sent via post would incur an extra charge of £30 for administration cost. If the learner wanted their case study file sent via email and just had their theory sent via post this would reduce the cost and you would then pay £24. For 1 day theory manuals they are much bigger than a singular module and so the fee is £12.
